Happy Friday ALL!!!!! 


How was everyone's first working week of the year? Mine was ok, no use in complaining we all work to improve our lives so that's what we do. 

I did apply for another job yesterday and OMG it's my dream, so cross your fingers and toes for me, its a fundraising management role for a non for profit and honestly this is where my true passion lies. 

Over the years I have managed fundraising teams and have raised millions for charity organizations around the world. It is the most rewarding work I can do and knowing my work goes directly to helping millions of less fortunate is where my heart lies so I will do anything to get the position I applied for and as an added bonus it is fully remote so I can get the girls into remote schooling which I believe what's best for my eldest who has severe social anxiety and be at home if they need anything, it also means we could travel whenever we want and I could work at the same time, it would enable us to have a life we want whilst helping others and I for one couldn't imagine a better way to live. 

On another note, I am taking Mum home today and won't see her until we leave for London in May and am going to miss her like crazy, I love my mum she is my best friend, but I understand she wants to be back at home with her things. It's a long bloody long drive though and I am coming straight back so its 13 hours there and then 13 hours back!! I will be wrecked by Sunday and probably spend the day sleeping, although some of our friends we have met whilst travelling are coming back home this weekend so it will be great to have our "family" back in town again, I am a big believer that family is who you choose and not necessarily blood relatives and we have met some of the best people in the world whilst travelling Australia and we now consider them family and it will be awesome to catch up with them all again. 

Wish me luck for my mammoth drive this weekend and I probably won't write again until Monday, so I hope you all have an absolutely fabulous weekend and make the most of every minute!

 Hey guys and gals! How are you all? I have started a new role at my current company which is less hours so it gives me more time with the kids which means a lot, especially now that Jeremy is FIFO.  We spent the weekend on the Gold Coast just myself and my husband which was something I think we both desperately needed and had such an awesome time just being kids, we went and played at time zone for 2 hours and then laid in bed watched movies and ate room service it was awesome!  Hi everyone, How are everyone's Thursdays going? Ours is wet and cold! That's ok though because apparently the weekend is set to be amazing!!!  I have been watching so many empowering thoughts videos and procrastination videos and my god they do help change your mindset, everyone has problems, everyday but EVERYONE can overcome them!  You need to focus on the positives in your life every day the smallest of things that bring a smile to your face focus on that, focus on the good in the world, I was always taught that smiles are contagious, and they are so today spread joy, spread love because I believe it's the biggest thing lacking in the world.  If you're procrastinating on a decision, follow the 5 second method ask yourself the question what is the answer that pops into your mind within 5 seconds?
