Evening everyone,
The weekend was amazing we went hiking, swimming and adventuring and we all loved every minute we were exhausted but it was so worth it.
Started the weekend at the lake with the Jet Ski and tube and just laid by the lake and relaxed didn't think about anything or focus on any problems just enjoyed ourselves.
Then we finished the weekend at Yarrangobilly caves where we trekked for 3klm admired amazing caves and amazing natural architecture. Then we walked the 1klm down to the Thermal springs and swum in the warm water and cold rain and it was just so reviving just getting in nature there were kangaroo's and fog, and it was stunning we were even lucky enough to see some brumbies on our drive out. Honestly, I think I could spend my life out there, no phone reception, no disturbance just focusing on life etc.
Then came today........... I started the day as I would with my usual morning coffee and meeting then received a call from Mum in heaps of pain I headed straight home and took her to the hospital she is fine but may have some nerve pain from the surgery mesh leaning on a nerve so we are hoping that's not the case and it's just a pain that will go away after she recovers properly.
Then had to leave Mum in the car while I took my youngest to the dentist who needed a tooth extraction which sucked as it would. Then I took them both to do groceries and was supposed to attend a meeting tonight but honestly just can't be bothered, when I got home I ensured all the house was clean as clean as it can get and all the washing is done as my mum is one of the people who can't sit down and rest and will get up and do things so now fingers crossed when I go to work tomorrow there will be nothing for her too do.
As you know my husband and I have been having a few issues and he has been offered a FIFO job today, I honestly don't know how I feel about it. On one hand I think it's a great idea as we need some time apart to miss each other but on the other side what if time apart make us grow further apart, I need him to make this decision because if I say go he will take it the wrong way but if I tell him to stay he is going to keep saying I just deal with him every day - which isn't true, I am busy and don't have time to make him happy and it's not my job he needs to make himself happy, whatever that means for him, I love him and always will but am lost and can't tell him what to do.
Also, our grey water has backed up so no toilet or shower which is fabulous!
Anyway, tomorrow is a new day, and it will be a good one with no hospitals, dentists or broken sewerage lol.
Glad you all got through your Mondays, and I am still glass half full because despite it all we are warm, happy healthy and fed.
Have sweet dreams everyone
Sam X
